- The village:
- On the hilltop touch the leaf and watch it fall. Walk down to the village and
- go into the tent on the left. Walk right until you reach the main chamber.
- Wait until the screne is over then get the distaff. Click on the egg and listen
- to the draft that plays - this is the Open draft. Click on the egg again and
- play the draft to open the egg. Listen to the Transcendence draft played by the
- Loom.
- Walk back to the left looking at the tapestries as you go and leave the tent.
- Go into the tent on the far right. Pick up the book and then click on the flask
- until it is knocked over. Note down the draft you hear - this is the Emptying
- draft. Click on the cauldron and note the draft it plays - this is the Dyeing
- draft. Use this draft to change the clothes green and use it on the undyed
- clothes on the other side of the room.
- Leave and go up the path to the left and into the forests. Click on the holes
- in the trees and listen to the notes that the owls in the holes play. Go to the
- left of the screen with the gravestones and chase the rabbit away by clicking
- into the thorns - this makes the owl fly away. Walk to the gravestone in the
- middle and click on it to read the writing it bears. Cast the Open draft on the
- stone. Go to the right and when you get to the trees, click on all the holes
- and listen to the owl in the last hole - this gives you the complete Night
- Vision draft.
- Walk back down to the village and go down to the left and to the pier. Use
- the Open draft on the shell so the seagull can have something to eat. Walk
- back into the village and into the tent that is in total darkness inside. Play
- the Night Vision draft to reveal what's inside. Click on the spinning-wheel -
- this gives you the Straw-into-Gold draft and you should also get the note 'f'.
- Walk back up to the top of the hill where the game started click on the sky and
- play the Opening draft. A lightning bolt strikes the tree. Go back to the pier.
- Walk into the sea and climb on to the tree trunk. When you reach the waterspout
- click on it to move towards it. Click on it again - this gives you the Twisting
- draft. Play this draft in reverse and the spout disappears. Paddle towards the
- mainland.

- The mainland:
- From the beach walk off the screen to the left into the forest until you're
- stopped by the shepherds. Note the draft of Invisibility that they play in
- reverse as they appear. Walk down the path towards the Emerald City. Walk to
- the right down the side of the city. Then use the Invisibility draft on the
- workers in the tower and enter the tower. Click on the people who are talking
- and listen to what they say. Walk to the crystal in the middle of the room and
- pull the bell. This takes you to another room.
- Examine the scythe and note the draft it gives you - this is the Sharpening
- draft. Walk to the left to the other crystal and click on the bell. Examine the
- Sphere three times and note the Terror draft it gives you. Walk to the crystal
- click on the bell. Walk to the other crystal and click on the other bell. You
- should be able to walk out of the city and back to where you met the shepherds.
- Use the terror draft to scare them off. Then walk to the left until you reach
- the sheep.
- Make the sheep jump the fence and note the Confusion draft they give you.
- When the shepherd has gone back to sleep use the Dyeing draft on the sheep to
- turn them green. Walk to the left past the fence and enter the hut. Examine the
- lamb twice. Wait until the fleece stops talking and then click on the lamb
- again - this gives you the Healing draft. Go back outside. Use the Dyeing draft
- on the sheep again and the dragon then takes you away.

- The caves:
- Go to the dragon. Examine the gold and turn the gold into straw by using the
- Straw-into-Gold draft backwards. You should get the note 'a'. Use the terror
- draft on the dragon and walk out of the cave and to the right until you are
- told you can't see anything. Use the Night Vision draft. Go down the steps turn
- left. Go through the first hole in the wall and to the right until you reach a
- room. Go down the stairs in the middle of the room. Walk up the path turn left
- and go through the second hole in the wall. Walk left until you fall down a
- hole and reach a pool of water. Click on the pool until you get the Reflection
- draft. Then get rid of the water with the emptying draft.
- Click on the sphere three times and watch the vision. Click on the empty hole
- and cast the Emptying draft in reverse to fill it up with water. Leave the
- caves by walking around the pillar and up. Walk to the right. Go through the
- hole in the wall then walk to the right. Click on the spiral staircase and cast
- the Twisting draft in reverse.

- The Anvil Castle - The Blacksmith's Guild:
- Go down the stairs. Cast the Sleeping draft in reverse on the boy. When he goes
- back to sleep use the Reflection draft on him. Walk to the right and down the
- steps to the town. Walk over the bridge and into the guild. Wait until the gate
- opens and go inside. Keep walking until you reach the furnace room. Click on
- the straw in the cell. Cast the draft of Opening on the cell door and leave the
- cell. Fill the wood pile by casting a reverse Emptying draft and go down the
- stairs.
- Click on the two men who are talking and wait until the blacksmith holds the
- sword in the air. Cast a Sharpening draft in reverse on it. Use the Opening
- draft on the cage door. Walk up to the sphere. Click on it and watch the tree
- visions. Walk on to the balcony where Mandible is and examine him. Walk back
- into the main room. Then back out onto the balcony. Float towards the gate with
- the volcano in it and go through. Clic on Rusty's bones and resurrect him with
- the Healing draft. Go back through the gate and cast the Opening draft on it in
- reverse. Float towards the gate with the forest and go through. Cast the draft
- of Healing on the injured people. Float back out and cast the Opening draft in
- reverse on the gate.
- Enter the third gat which goes to the Emerald City. Click on the wounded man.
- Try to resurrect him go out and close the gate with a reverse Opening draft. Go
- to the hole that you fell through and close that as well you should now have
- the note 'b'. Go left until you get to the pond and click on the swan when
- she's finished talking to you. Walk to the left until you reach the last gate.
- Go through it and walk to the right. Click on the Loom. Then click on it again
- and note the Silence draft it plays. Cast it in reverse on Hetchel. Click on
- the Loom again. Note the Warmth draft and cast it in reverse on Hetchel. Click
- on the Loom again. Note the Unmaking draft and use it on the Loom. Walk into
- the hole. Click on Bobbin and cast the Transcendence draft and get ready for
- the end sequence.
